Jodie Young ///

Jodie has been writing and singing since she was 17 (that's a long time but she's not saying how long!!) Originally learning guitar to put poetry to music, Jodie began to focus purely on the songwriting and the story telling that goes with it. 

Her debut album "Screaming with the Wait" produced by Melvin Tree and featuring musicians such as Dave Kelly, Dean Cochrane, Lisa Hill, Susie Goodwin as well as the very talented and multi skilled Producer, Melvin himself. As a rule Jodie performs solo (claiming that if a mistake is made, she can just pretend it's part of the song!) but has been threatening to get a band together. 

Bringing her own style, Jodie's covers are ecletic and engaging. Performing songs from Cash to Chisel, Sheeren to Springsteen and everything in between.

Jodie is available to play parties, bars, weddings, lounge rooms with up to four hours of music covering the classics to contemporary tunes.
